Our school relationship outreach programme involves over 5,000 schools across100 cities in India, the Gulf and across Asia, reaching out to 15 lakh plus students every year.
The company was started in 1991, as Big Ideas, by Derek O’Brien, Asia’s best-known quiz master. Today, Derek O’Brien & Associates conducts quiz shows and knowledge game shows across the country and the Gulf. Over the years, we have delivered many iconic shows like the Bournvita Quiz Contest, Limca Book of Records Quiz and the Brand Equity Quiz.
We also publish books in the areas of recreational knowledge (quiz and reference books) and purposive knowledge (prescribed GK textbooks).
Our Know and Grow with Derek series, in partnership with Pearson (the No. 1 education publishers worldwide), has consistently been the largest selling subscribed series in schools for over a decade. The series aims at addressing the four vital success skills of student life: personality development, life skills, general awareness, and creativity and thinking skills.
We regularly conduct specially designed Public Speaking, Soft Skills & Personality Development courses for schools across India.
